Sarathi Trust, A community based organization formed in 2006, located in centre of the country Nagpur, India to create a safe space for Lesbians, Gays, Bisexuals,Trans genders and Queers(LGBTQ) people in Vidarbha district of Maharashtra. It was form to provide support, care and prevention with the "Dream" to bring the LGBTQ community in to the mainstream in the society.
   

At the beginning, we started with “ek soch ek sapna” and today we are in the position to deliver the services inclusive of not just physical health concerns, but also psychological and social health aspects to our community. With its own efforts and thanks to support and assistance from donors over the past years, Sarathi Trust has recorded significant achievements in health of MSM/TG community in Nagpur District and parts of Vidarbha. In 2007, this trust approach to the Avert Society for the project “TARANG” for prevention from HIV/AIDS among MSM/TG Community, which was full, granted in 2009. In 2012 this project successfully transited to the MSACS (Maharashtra AIDS control Society, Mumbai) however Sarathi have also start working in collaboration with The Humsafar Trust Mumbai and Alliance India Delhi under Global Fund Round -9 from October 2011 for creating STI/HIV/AIDS awareness among the MTH (Men having sex with Men, Transgender and Hijra) community within District “Nagpur”. Over a period of past Seven years,  and significantly after receiving the CBO budget  and expanded staff we have reached to more than 2500 MSM/TG community and have been providing awareness counselling, promoting condom usage, facilitating referrals, follow up and linkages to PLHA organization and enabling access to medical care centres.

 
At present Sarathi runs, two targeted intervention and capacity building projects called Tarang and Pehchan in association with above-mentioned donors, for betterment of MSM/TG community.
